In Slovenia the beer always had to be bought and drunk in front of the hall. Was always a bit stressful in the third breaks but also went.

Top favorit, wahrscheinlich die Frösche... Hinter denen Pustertal, Asiago und Ritten, villeicht auch Lustenau. Mit Jesenice ist es heuer nicht zum rechnen. Wenn die ins PO mit diese Mannschaft schaffen, wird das schon ein Erfolg.
I have the same opinion. IMHO Feldkirch will be also in top 6.
Nichts besonderes. Die werden mitspielen. Wie die Mannschaft ausschsuen wird ist noch nicht ganz Klar. Angeblich sind Rodmans und Kranjc in Spiel, aber es hängt natürlich alles vom Geld. Ein paar Spieler haben die Verträge schon verlängert. Jezovšek und Planko wechseln nach Laibach, Logar nach Frankreich, Saunders Slowakei und Alagić Lustenau (der war so oder so nicht unser Spieler). Der junge Avsenik (ex Villach) kommt aus Celje nach Jesenice. Das ist das für jetzt.

Nine players (including the captain) have already signed contracts. Head coach remains Gaber Glavic. President of the club for the next 4 years stays A. Pogačar. The office also strengthened. One sponsor (insurance company Triglav) returned, and two new sponsors are expected to arrive. As my colleague mentioned before me, the further composition of the team depends on money (especially about the return of home stars back to Jesenice). Of course, we are expecting to join the team as well the young core of players who last year played for the team ...
By the way, who knows the official information: the number of clubs that will take place in the 2018/19 season, the rules, the start of the league schedule, the modus ....???

It's not correct that there are finacial troubles! Club ended season with + and have no debt. The main problem is that club can't find new leadership (president). The old one ended his mandatory (4 years) and he doesn't want to be candidate again.
He claims that local community in not cooperating and not doing enough for member hockey in the area and city (they are mainly supporting only young hockey players)....
All sponsors claimed that they are remaining, but it's still in the air what will be if there is no NEW leadeship. In that case "still legal" president is thretening that he'll close the club. He said that the AlpsHockeyLeague evolved and so club must evolve too and get more support (of course that means more money also)...if there will be no support, than the worst could happen (hope not!)....All should be known 14.6.2018 (club meeting)...

It's not over till it's over...Maybe we'll still see Slovenian team in EBEL. But with "normal terms", not like last year when Jesenice managed to furfile all terms, and then League set new and new conditions...
After they were furfilled (GM were suprised, becose they thought we can't manage), they figured out someting new again (final reason was - you have no players on contract for EBEL also no contracts. which is another lie. Club had written assurances of sponsors to increase input in case of occurrence in the EBEL) - how we could have player under contract or money on account, if we didn't get answer yet where we'll play? Like that (bad planning) it's such a teathre every year - you can't plan a normal season. serious league would fix all that before end of season (for next year constelattion should be fixed already)..
It's obvious that club need better players for EBEL than for AHL...right? And people doesn't know half of it (how dirty deals we got on table....if you would hear it, you would say that I'm lying. and club cant tell that in news - because whatever you take this ...it's still negotiations).
Now we step in EBEL only if we get fair deal...if not, we stay in AHL...and that is fine for us, club is rising is stable and have many supporters and sponsors. Also we got title back (from EBEL club) so it's even sweeter win...
Well, Italy is part of elite, so it's Slovenia and we have both first league teams in AHL with not too many legionars (max 4) - which is great (biggest mistake of EBEL IMHO - EBEL is NA agents slaves league, have too many legionares and austrians (domestic players) are not getting enough playing time - ok my opinion again...and excluding KAC from this, maybe they realized a mistake in VSV this year - we'll see)!
Let's wait official news. It is interesting that once again league waits (our newspapers say until 26 April.)...

Today is 3rd match in Ljubljana. With another win Jesenice will get "match point" and won the title already .

Congrats to Ritten - they had great season. 
Well it's not a secret that foreign teams don't get sponsors "cake" (only 8 Austrian teams does) and because of that they are unsatisfied and demanding equitable distribution. Because of that lack of money foreign teams have financial problems and playing in a long term in EBEL is killing those clubs.
Austrian teams still don't want to divide their "cake"....here is lying the biggest problem. And that's why foreign teams are unhappy with current situation...
Well one league and different rules for different teams is not fair right? Imagine that in (for an sample) NHL (USA/CAN) or in KHL would give main sponsors money only to a few clubs...

Meeting in Klagenfurt is postponed (again) for two weeks. 
In two weeks they will decide on the format of the competition for next season. Status of HDD Olimpija is uncertain, the issue is also the appearance Orli from Znojmo and Bolzano in league, Medveščak is returning in the league....

IMHO they just enter teams which still have old names in their base (also Jesenice using different name in AHL since HKJ went bankrupt, this yeat a few people bought HKJ brand back and it's possible that they have plan to bring it back - whispers around and a lot of meetings nowdays... )
we'll see, would be interesting to be back (of course if we would have enough money for this...but you never know, BIG hockey names are mentioned...also money shouldnt be problem. I don't know how is with EBEL clubs opinion though...)
