    well, with such a league the quality will suffer greatly and the quality of austrian hockey league will fall for 1-2 levels... that would lead to many boring games between top and bottom teams, less spectators on the games, less intrest for hockey between general sport public and less sponsors... i think the quality of ebel league is now very high, and because of that the intrest for ebel league is rising (i am proud that jesenice contributed to that) and we are all watching quality entertaining games in an interesting league... and everyone can beat everyone...do you think that Salzburg public would show interest for games against Lustenau and Dornbirn???

    my opinion is that the best solution for Austrian and Slovenian hockey is to have a joined national championships (ebel league), where only quality clubs from Austria (currently Salzburg, Villach, Linz, Wien, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt, Graz) and Slovenia (currently Jesenice and strenghtened Olimpija) would take part, and the best austrian club would become austrian champion, and the best slovenian club would become slovenian champion.... this would be an extremely interesting competition for both austrian and slovenian sports public

    I think the best solution for Austrian and Slovenian hockey is to have a joined national championships (ebel league), where the best austrian club would become austrian champion, and the best slovenian club would become slovenian champion.

    There are currently 7 austrian clubs and 2 slovenian clubs that can play high quality hockey, so lets have a joined league with 9 clubs in the next season... if the goal is to have at least 10 clubs in the league, i think it's better to play one season with nine clubs and than add a 10th club next year...

    the problem that we have is our goallie... with kotyk we won all games against Linz, with Glavic we lost all... i agree that we have better players than Linz, but our goallie is by far the worst goallie in the league, so i think the win will stay in Linz...

    not good! there are some conflicting news about Kotyk's recovery... his new unoficial comeback date is in the beginning of March :( ... maybe red power has more info about that

    i just hope that Kopitar will make an apologize to the ebel league officials and austrian clubs and that HK Jesenice president Pavle Rupar will distance our club from Kopitar's comments... i respect Kopitar as a coach, but this comments are just awful... i don't know what Kopitar tried to achieve with such stupid comments... in fact i can not understand how one can be so stupit to think in such way ...i think its clear to 99.9% of people that HK Jesenice is gained the most with the ebel league, everybody knows that vsv-kac derbies are sold out a few days before the game, and that Jesenice is not the most watched club on the road...

    i am very pleased with the way austrian fans accepted Jesenice in the league, and the way ebel oficials treats HK Jesenice and because of that Kopitar's comments are even sadder...

    i watched most of the jesenice home games (in podmezakla and on tv) and Salzburg-Jesenice game that was on Premiere, and i must say i am pretty pleased with the referees... they are not perfect, and there were decisions that were not in our favour, but it could be much worst... but there's certainly no conspiracy against Jesenice in Play Off (i personally think that our goallie Glavic is the one who will take the play off spot away and not the refereess).

    we have some awesome players like Rodman brothers (especially Marcel), Razingar, Kranjec... Kopitar choose the right Internationals (Fox, Pare, Kotyk)... almost the whole Slovenian national team plays for Jesenice this year (except Kopitar - NHL, Jan - DEL and Kristan - elite swedish league)... how can this team not be competitive??? Salzburg is stronger, but i think we are as good as VSV and Linz, better than Inssbruck and much better than KAC and Graz... our big handicap is our goallie Glavic, if Kotyk (or similar quality goallie) would play the whole season, we would currently have 10 more points and be pretty safe in the play-off spot...

    i also think Kopitar should face some consequences regarding his comments (both from hk jesenice and from ebel league)!

    well the puck went from left post, to right post and out... i also don't know how the referree could saw the puck in the goal - and he clearly showed with his hand that he saw the puck crossed the line (maybe he just tried to help kac to win this game :D)... after the intervention from jesenice players and the bench, the 4th refferee reviewed the replay, where was clearly visible that the puck didn't cross the line and the goal was disallowed... good work SportKlub!

    i have nothing but a great respect for salzburg and i think its awesome to have such a strong team with such great players in the league... but hey salzburg fans, don't underestimete Jesenice... you are forgeting that almost complete slovenian national team play for Jesenice this season (except our nhl superstar Anze Kopitar and Ivo Jan)... and these same players sent Austria into Divison I two years ago... i think this will be a very tough game, my call is 3-3 and then over time win for salzburg...
