Mal ehrlich, was genau ist eigentlich mit unsrer Ligaführung los?
Wir haben eigentlich sportlich gesehen eine coole Phase, letztes Jahr schon war der Kampf um die PO Plätze sehr knapp, heuer wirds noch knapper werden.
Organisatorisch, ists das genaue Gegenteil:

Die Ligaseite wurde umgebaut, gewisse Stats sind nicht mehr ersichtlich (FOW% wird zwar erfasst, aber ich kann die Spieler nicht vergleichen). Dazu kommt zzt. immer mehr auf, dass quasi in jedem Spiel Punkte/PPs etc. falsch erfasst werden.
neue Strafauslegung
Warum in Gottes Namen kommt man nach 3 Wochen Betrieb dazu, die Strafauslegung im Bezug auf ua. Hooking zu ändern? Wär das nicht schon was für die Preseason gewesen oder zumindest für den Saisonstart?
Streaming
Die neue Streamingplattform der Liga ist an sich keine neue aus dem nichts kreierte Plattform sondern besteht schon seit Jahren. Dennoch gibts laufend Probleme mit der Qualität. Wer daran Schuld ist, ist mir als Konsument komplett egal, ich zahle Geld und will eine Leistung haben. Zumindest die Plattform selbst (die das Geld bekommt) als auch die Liga (deren Produkt ich konsumiere) müssten hier eigentlich für die Qualität sorgen, passieren tut wenig.
Probleme mit einzelnen Clubs bzw. krampfhafte Erweiterungen
Finanziell muss man sich immer wieder Sorgen machen um gewisse Clubs. zzt schielt man besorgt nach Westen - wie lange wird Innsbruck und Vorarlberg nach jahrelanger sportlicher Bedeutungslosigkeit das noch mitmachen? Dazu hast ausl. Clubs wie Bratislava und Asiago die man bestenfalls als Experimente betiteln kann. Budapest sieht jetzt auch nicht aus, wie eine sportliche Bereicherung für die Liga. Einstiege von guten Clubs wie Znaim oder Fehervar damals kann man sich mittlerweile aufmalen. Froh kann man sein, dass Laibach einen Mäzen gefunden hat, sonst wäre die Lichter dort bei unter 1000 Zusehern wohl auch bald aus gegangen.
Legionäre
Von der Idee die Legios alle 2 Jahre zu reduzieren, ist mit Corona auch nix mehr übrig geblieben, das Thema konnte man bequem unter den Teppich kehren, obwohl vielen Teams, bei vollen 10 Legios vermutlich 1-2 immer dabei sind, dies nicht unbedingt bräuchte.
Dazu kommen Themen wie die unlängst wieder ungut aufgefallene Bozner Fanszene, verbotene away Fanartikel in den Hallen oder der Spielplan mit durchgewürfelten Beginnzeiten, Tagen und unterschiedlich vielen Spielen.
...und über Themen wie zu niedrige Sperren, regt sich mittlerweile eh keiner mehr auf.
Eigentlich wahnsinnig viele Baustellen, aber die häufen sich eher als dass sie nachhaltig bereinigt werden.

Also I think, why are there 13 teams this season like last years and not 14 teams? It isn't better 14 teams?
Why not do like in NHL, Ovest Division and East Division (or north and south)?

Because looking in from the outside, I would have said that the golden age of Italian ice hockey was in the (early) 1990s, with Milano Devils winning the Alpenliga and Varese the Federation Cup, Jagr and Kurri playing in Italy during the lock-out of 1994/95 and perhaps most importantly the national team making three consecutive appearances at the Olympic Games (1992, 1994 and 1998) - on merit, not by being the host, as well as being a fixture in the top division of the world championship from 1992 to 2002.
it isn't the first sport in Italy. Asiago is a small town, need to search fans outside Asiago, to promote to tourists from others cities. Something has been moving for a few years now, and the results are visible. Tourists are interested, and they're talking about the team and the sport.
Attracting young people from the lowlands and involving schools is important. -

If the club is convincing, if its solidity is convincing, if the efforts for the current stadium are convincing and if the new stadium starts to be built, they could return to ICE sooner than expected.

Bei Asiago ist/war nicht nur das Stadion ein Problem. Die Fans selber hatten ja auch keine große Freude gegen österreichische Teams zu spielen. Habe da die letzten Jahre öfter auf ihrer Facebook-Seite gelesen. Denen wäre großteils ja 10x lieber es gäbe wieder eine rein italienische 1. Liga.
Allein schon die Polemik wieso man Asiago rausgeworfen hat und nicht Innsbruck. Hat man laut ihrer Meinung natürlich nur nicht weil Innsbruck ein österreichisches Team ist. Undsoweiterundsofort. Könnte da noch viele Beispiele aufzählen...
Sähe das auch trotz evtl. neuem Stadion sehr skeptisch, dass die ICE in Asiagos Fankultur große Freudensprünge auslösen würde.
Yes, Some fans said and say this because they lost often. Before, we were used to always winning. It's better to aim high, be ambitious, you learn from losing, you learn from mistakes. You have to know how to win and lose. The level in ICE is higher than in ALPS, more fun and exciting.

Was heißt hier hauptsache expandieren? Bis das neue Stadion steht (wenn es denn gebaut wird), hat man ja Zeit, die "neue Organisation" in Asiago zu beobachten. Wenn dann gut gearbeitet wird, die Infrastruktur passt und auch eine gewisse finanzielle Sicherheit da ist (die die Liga ja angeblich bei Neubewerbern verlang), warum nicht?

Was waren nochmals die Anforderungen, die Asiago nicht erfüllt hat? Hauptsächlich die Infrastruktur?
Wenn ja --> dann wären mit einem neuen, modernen Stadion ja die wichtigsten Punkte gelöst --> es gibt keinen Grund dass sie nicht in der Liga spielen --> die würden ein gutes 14. Team bilden.

Some improvements have been made: new balustrades, new lighting, new seats, new paint, new stands, new heating/ventilation system, new TV screens, and, a few weeks ago, a new roof and cleaning of the attic wood.
The efforts have been made. Even the re-election under the new management (during the vote) wasn't enough. They say they missed the majority to favor Asiago for the 2025/26 championship by 1-2 votes. -

yes asiago has 6000 people, but all highland in asiago has 20.000 people and 30minutes/1 hour there is a lowland with over 250.000 people

Eine derart riesige (fast 2 Millionen Einwohner) und wichtige europäische Metropole in der Liga zu haben, kann man eigentlich nur positiv bewerten. Asiago hatte ca. 6000 Einwohner.
Mit dem wirtschaftlichen Hintergrund und lediglich Fehervar als Konkurrenzklub für die Einheimischen wird das über einige Saisonen hoffentlich zu einer genau so starken Konstante wachsen wie Fehervar!

But Asiago is in the "Altopiano dei 7 comuni" with 20.000 people, and 30 minutes you are in plains (Po Valley), Asiago is in "Province of Vicenza" with 800.000 people.
Asiago thanks to tourism, have people/fans from other regions in italy.
Maybe austrian clubs prefer to do a lot of km to Budapest.
Asiago it is no less than Feldkirch and Brunico, yes probably the staiudm (Brunico), look the old stadium.

In my opinion Asiago is a nice addition to the league, of course it is shitty that they didn't renovate their stadium in the time frame they received but I feel like this is the norm in Italy when you have bigger construction works. I think at least for us in Pustertal, even if we don't like them a lot, it is better to have them in the league rather than not.
By the way I really appreciate the posts by Omo here who gives good information in contrary to Odegar who only knows how to insult other people when they say something against Asiago.

Latest news (recent press conference mayor, president, designers):
-Work on the roof postponed to April 2025, because the company in charge was awarded in July, requiring 5 months without interruption. Not possible now from July because first match in Asiago on 18 October.
-End of August/early September works, replacement and upgrading of air conditioning, heating refrigeration, and dehumidification of the stands, the ice rink, the entire stadium, the main cause of the deterioration of the roof.
- restyling/cleaning/renewal of the internal environments, stands, flooring, new seats
- removal of aesthetically ugly parts
- a mobile grandstand (stadium entrance) is planned for a further 300-400 seats (perhaps from September/October)
- After next season we will also think about 6 new changing rooms (west side/park side), 1 gym (also public) and 1 restaurant
- From April 2025, after the under-18 world championships, roofing work will begin, removal of photovoltaic panels, and subsequent installation and expansion of the panels, removal of wooden covers with sheet metal panels. The wooden parts under the roof, wooden beams, etc., some replaced because they were damaged, others completely cleaned. Unfortunately some wooden parts cannot be touched.
Without these interventions, the stadium would have been closed.
