Was die Fans betrifft, glaub ich kaum dass es in großen Städten ohne Hockey Kultur leichter sein wird diese anzusprechen.Schau mal in Bruneck,Bozen und Asiago hast du 500-1000 treue Seelen die einfach jedes Spiel ansehen.Auf denen kann man aufbauen. In einer zufälligen italienischen Großstadt fehlen solche Leute komplett.Schau dir die Wiener Capitales an in einer Stadt mit 1,8 Millionen Einwohner einem recht erfolgerreichen gut organisierten Verein kommen sie auf einen Zuschauerschnitt von 3000-3500 Leute.Passt ja auch,aber die musste sie auch erst aufbauen,und auch dann ist es nicht so dass ihnen die Türen eingerannt werden.
Das mit den großen Städten ist eine Illusion der man in Italien seit 30 Jahren hinterherrennt.Man muss schauen dass man die Struckturen die man hat optimal nützt.
Z.b könnte der Verband mit einem Bruchteil des Geldes was jetzt für die Italos verpulvert wird,den Serie C vereinen eine kleine Finanzspritze geben das zumindest in Mailand nicht die Lichter ausgehen.
Mailand ist sowiso extrem schade und komplett unverständlich.Eine solcher Standort mit der Tradition und Fanbase, praktisch der Geburtsort des italienischen Eishockey schafft es nicht in einer besseren Bierliga mitzuspielen, und wir reden von anderen großen Städten, da merkst du hoffentlich auch das dass ganze nie passieren wird, auch wenns schade ist.

Wenn das Wörtchen "wenn" nicht wäre. Aber wenn man nicht einmal ein Serie C Team organisieren kann, dann ist es besser das Thema Hockey und Mailand zu Grabe zu tragen.
Hockey ist in Italien regional verwurzelt, mit den Leuchttürmen in Südtirol und im Veneto. Dann hat man noch die paar im Trentino, Como und Varese in der Lombardei, Aosta, Valpe und Turin. Das wars dann auch. Man kann keine Hockeykultur von 0 aus dem Boden stampfen. Wer will bitte beispielsweise in Bologna oder Padova Hockey schauen gehen?
I agree and this is the problem. The point is that there are no Ice arena in the main city. I know very well the situation in Padova, there is a quite good youth sector, there are really a good number of young guys that are playing, but the critical point is that the arena is no ready to play also a serie C. I'm sure that if there will be a team in Padova you'll be able to involve a large number of fans much more easily than in Asiago or Brunico. In the 80' years there were big/medium cities with hockey teams and hockey level was not so bad. The point is that in Italy there is not the hockey federation like in the other countries and the funding received by the CONI are too low. but this is a long a already discussed several times story. If we will not come out from a fundamentally provincial mentality we will never take a step forward, and I say this at the expense of reality as Asiago, and we will spend time discussing about imports and the youth sectors whose purpose will only remain to save a few euros to the organizations. in a nutshell, hockey is an expensive sport and in Italy there is not enough money to give it a different visibility and to invest in the Arena, only in region as Alto Adige there are so important contributions for the sport facilities

Cities like Milano would have for sure a big and positive impact on the Italian hockey, if someone with a minimum of competence will drive the organizations

The Italian championship was the main target for Asiago in the past years also because it is qualifying for the continental cup. I'm very sad that we'll no more compete for the scudetto, but it is correct in this way.

I think when Mentenuto or Salinitri is ready for the ICE then Tedesco is it for sure. Not only that, but I mean 68 Points in 39 games is excellent. With a Team like Fassa even more.
Tedesco played the preseason with Asiago and he was not confirmed, my personal view is that there is a strong difference between salinitri/mantenuto and Tedesco. about the statistics consider That for Fassa there was just 1 line that signed points. Ihope that the Italian federation and CONI makes clarity and transparency about this new policy and also other direct or indirect support to clubs (whichever these may be). We are talking about public money after all and I think on these matters full transparency is mandatory.
For sure all the teams are aligned on this topic, the opportunity is not just for the IceHL teams but also for AlpsHL teams, then each team can use the contributions or not. these are the only news that i have.
