    Sarcasm yes, but not the vociferous sort, and I have a hard time reading it that way. If you're offended by what you perceived to be angry sarcasm I'm sorry. Only when I'm really upset do i drop the teasing and say flatly "this is a terrible coach" or something to that effect. I also didn't ascertain you really liking those lines but you did and you had an explanation so as I said above experimentation is necessary. Would you say Ganahl doesn't have a nose for the net however?

    Not offended at all, these are not "my" lines after all i did was just rank them and put the Koch line first since i believe he´s still our strongest centerman. Maybe just a bit tired of the convenience of flat/provocating postings (in this thread) and not expecting it from you.
    Anyways yes you are right, these lines would make almost perfect sense to me, given the assumption no further signing to come (atleast for now). And i also am a friend of a balanced lineup, our goal will be to qualify for a top six spot this season and this will require a even spread of workload and securing points especially vs the weaker teams of the league. I agree completely with Kalt that we don´t have to care too much about Salzburg, we need to care about teams where we can lose points. And having a strong third line could be the advantage over the likes of e.g. Dornbirn who barely dress four (ebel)quality defensemen.
    @Ganahl: did i put this wrong? He probably has one of the biggest noses (aside of Popovic) of the whole team.
    I meant he would compensate Hundi´s lack of scoring ability. Lundmark is by far our best offensive player, and Ganahl should be the next one behind him when it comes to scoring touch imho (atleast aside of the new legios which i still have a bit of a hard time judging), but for some reason it seemed to me he had difficulties to be effective last season. Slotting him into a line with Koch and MGeier instead of Pance could work out well too, would you see him ahead of Pance for such a spot? I think i would prefer the energy and physicality Pance brings to this line, whereas Hundis phyisical presence could compensate much of Ganahls shaky style of play.

    For Lundmark i think he needs a defensively responsible centerman who can make use of open space and dish, which i hope Hurtubise can bring to the table. Do you think this is not within his limits? If he fails on this (basically the same scenario we had just last year with Nordqvist...) we are in serious trouble imho. Koch can play with Lundmark (and he did in the past) but this leaves us with a mess offensively with the other lines.

    <p>I think Ganahl is better than Pance but it makes sense to have Pance on that line perhaps because Hundi is a good two way center and Koch is more offensive-minded, not as two-way. I always thought for some reason that KAC has a large budget, probably because they were a powerhouse. Hurtubise and Lundmark would probably work together but I think Hurtubise was brought in as a second-line player, and Stefan Geier is not incredible, if the goal is to beat Dornbirn then it works but that line would probably be underpowered against Salzburg. Bernd Freimuller mentioned KAC as one of the teams with legio spots left and I think there's probably one more forward slot left to be filled.</p>

    najo die 30 Cent Unterschied zu Villach san a schon wurscht, vor ollem, wenn das deppate Bier schon seit Mitte des Drittels halb im Becher wackt und du dann nur mehr a bissl Schaum rauf kriagst :/

    Ist die Kaderplanung beim KAC schon abgeschlossen? Meine nur, will man echt nur mit 3 Legiostürmern in die Saison starten - kann ich mir ehrlich gesagt nicht vorstellen.... ?(

    Auf den bin ich gespannt, kann man wohl absolut nicht einschätzen. ECHL Stats sind auch nicht immer sonderlich aussagekräftig, ein Desmarais war in der ECHL z.b. auch ähnlich gut wie Neal, in Europa wurde er dann zum Topscorer. Den umgekehrten Weg gab es z.b. bei Forney zu betrachten.

    ..dass die "unbekannten" Bozen Neuzugänge am Papier viel besser aussehen als bei unseren Kärntner Vereinen ist dann aber halt doch etwas bedenklich. Aber gut, die müssen sich auch erst mal am europäischen Eis zurecht finden

    Da haben wir aber einen ganzen Adlerhorst ausgehoben. Jede Menge Jungadler in rot weiß - wer hätte das gedacht....

    Interessant, zu Courchaine der nicht mal in Erwägung gezogen wurde gab es 3 Seiten, jetzt gibts 3 Kommentare.

    Also ich finde die Verpflichtung interessant, meine auch herauszulesen, dass möglicherweise noch einer kommt und die beiden sich dann um einen Platz matchen.
