Help and tips

    Hallo EC Red Bull fans.
    First I will apologise that this post is in English. I'm sorry to say my German is not good.

    My name is Simon, I'm from Manchester UK, I'm posting today to ask for tips, advise and say hello.

    If I explain, a number of us are planning to come over and watch some DEL in October/November this year for my stag do. There will be about 20-30 of us, most big ice hockey fans that support the Manchester Phoenix in the English Premier League (I will add we won our playoffs a few weeks ago, so very happy at the moment :) )

    We are hoping to travel to Munich Friday morning, travel to one of the surrounding towns/city's that have a game Friday, Saturday travel back to Munich and attempt to drink your city dry and then catch a Red Bull game Sunday.

    My main question is when are the DEL fixtures/schedule released so that we can move forward with our plans?

    If anyone has any other tips on tickets, travel ect your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Plus if any collectors would like us to bring any pins/other merchandise from the English Premier league we would be more than happy to help. We are a friendly bunch and all looking forward to watching some great DEL.

    Salzburg is about 140 km from Munich, with train 2 hours. a beautiful city with much history and tourism. Red Bull Salzburg has the games in the EBEL (league with clubs from Austria, Czech Republik, slovenia, Croatia (?) or maybe new slovakia). In Salzburg it is normaly no problem to get tickets in autumn, they are only full in the playoffs. The matches are on friday and sunday, somtimes tuesday. Maybe you find a weeken were Salzburg plays at hom on friday, and Munich on Sunday.

    for the 2012/13 season the DEL schedule was released on 2012-07-16, a similar date can be expected for the upcoming season.

    among other websites, it will get published on hockeyweb.de or eishockey.net

    the german noun for schedule is "Spielplan", so watch out for it or simply check back around july and we´ll provide you with a direct link.

    Yes, and when you write in this Forum you should want to see Red Bull Salzburg. If you just want to go to Munich, you are wrong on this site!

    The regular season will start on 13th of September.
