    glaub der satz "things heating up a little bit" ist so nicht mehr ganz richtig.
    mittlerweile entwickeln sich schon anständige privatduelle. zb. kaleta und chara ... also wenn es in der serie kracht dann anständig wie man gestern schon gesehen hat.

    freu mich schon wahnsinnig auf spiel 6 und wenn man wieder so ins spiel geht wie heute und etwas mehr puckglück hat dann gibts garantiert ein 7tes spiel :)

    Ich hab mir gerade die Strafen angesehen, die beim kleinen "brawl" ausgesprochen wurden. Chara hat 2min instigator penalty bekommen, das heißt er ist für game 6 gesperrt oder?

    Nein, NHL hat schon gesagt, dass sie ihn nicht sperren (wie auch nicht Rivet heuer und Malkin letzjährig im Finale). Die Regel soll eigentlich nur "Goons" betreffen, die bei Niederlagen unnötigte Schlägereiens anzetteln.

    Jaja, die NHL hat genauso ihre Schwachköpfe im Strafsenat wie andere Ländern.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Sabres wanted Boston Bruins captain Zdeno Chara suspended for Game 6 in Boston on Monday for an incident that occurred in the final seconds of Game 5 at HSBC Arena Friday night.

    The NHL reviewed the situation, however, and informed the Bruins as they were en route back to Boston that there would be no suspenson, a team spokesman told ESPNBoston.com.

    Per WGR:

    Vanek skated with the Black Aces today while the rest of the team met. He participated in some battle drills, which he hadn't done to this point.

    Nothing else in terms of an update from Ruff at this point.

    The Sabres are practicing in HSBC Arena, and Thomas Vanek still looks doubtful for a return. The left winger is skating on the fifth line with Raffi Torres and Matt Ellis.

    Vanek skates in a straight line just fine, but his cutting and shooting ability are still off. A few seconds ago, he bumped into the end boards rather than stop with his left foot (and injured ankle). It would take major healing overnight to play in Game Six on Monday in Boston.

    The Sabres' other lines remain the same: Tyler Ennis-Derek Roy-Jason Pominville; Tim Connolly-Paul Gaustad-Mike Grier; Drew Stafford-Tim Kennedy-Patrick Kaleta; and Nathan Gerbe-Cody McCormick-Adam Mair.
