Hi, i only have good things tosay about austrian icehockey, but there is one thing im missing.

    Club TVs!

Not on the cable or FTA but online. Almost all of the clubs in the norwegian league goes online the day after the match with the highlights from the match. Goals, tackles, fights and maybe some interviews.

Stavanger Oilers - Stjernen: http://www.oilers.no/index.cfm?id=271669 (OilersTV)

Storhamar - Stavanger Oilers: http://dragons.no/DragonsTv/tabid/3178/Default.aspx (DragonsTV)

Frisk Asker - Vålerenga: http://www.frisktigers.no/index.php?module=pagesetter&func=viewpub&tid=10&pid=78 (FriskTV)

    Lillehammer - Frisk Asker: http://www.lillehammerik.idrett.no/contents/visny…p?nyhetsid=2971

    Lørenskog - Sparta Sarpsborg: http://film.lik.no/wmv/20100103_LIK-Sparta.wmv

It is not great, but it gives you a chance to look at the goals from the other matches (I know ORF show icehockey on late fridays). Also some of the teams are you using youtube, specially the non-austrian ones. Last year Capitals had some planetlinz (?) thing, but never anything from the actual matches, on postmatch interviews. But im sure some of the teams are taping their matches, i think it would be great if austrian teams also started showing highlights online from their matches. Im fully aware it takes some time to record the match and then make a highlight video, but it doesnt have to be anything fancy...the hockeyfans love anything that gives them a taste of hockey :)

The KAC offers "Club TV" on their website (http://www.kac.at/webchannel/). There you can watch the highlights of the home games of the team and also some short interviews. The video and sound isn't real high quality, but like you mentioned, it is enough to get a look at some of the game highlights.

I wasnt aware of this, not bad at all. But it was almost too fancy for me (i only looked at the Jesenice match). Show the goals and have some info about time of goal, goalscorer and assist...then you can have the fancy stuff after the goals are shown :)

Yes, could be done better, but at least you get the chance to catch some scenes of the game. (I needed it sometimes when I got some beers in the arena, then I was able to review the goals next day :P )

last season graz had online tv in cooperation with a small channel called "steirmark 1" - click me - but after a few games the channel decided to stop the project. the manager of the 99ers told me a few weeks ago that they want to provide a similar service like the kac.

highly recomended: there is one guy on youtube, who constantly uploads games. click here.

on qik.com/niners we put up our so called "fan stream" (filmed with an iphone) where we try to catch the atmosquere of the fans. unfortunately we're not allowed to film the ice.
on ninersgraz.com we embed videos from youtube and our fan stream (live!).

In my humble opinion, it's just of limited use anyway because it only shows the goals of KAC. Even if it hurts to see the opponent's goals, they're still part of the game. ;)

 it's the same thing in klagenfurt during the breaks. it's pretty annoying.
