Wasn't Olympiahalle Innsbruck once sold out against KAC during Playoffs 04/05? If yes its for sure the current record.

i think that will be around 10000-11000 people, only problem is that with that number of people arena looks half empty... but maybe i'm wrong because bears have great PR, and the hockey is most visited sport in croatia...

director of the arena was talking about it plans on tv yesterday, and he said that because zagreb indoors (http://www.zagrebindoors.com/indoors.htm) bears will play their games in arena, and i think that is the only solution because in zagreb there are only three other options and that is salata (open ice court in more or less deroute condition), velesajam ("small" ice court) and drazen petrovic's hall (only basketball hall)... and to put tennis in arena would be redicoluos because until semi-final tennis have few hundred people watching it live...

I don't think that ice rink would fit into Dražen Petrović hall. That hall was designed only for basketball and other sports are never really played there. Before arena was built handball club Zagreb also had issues because of that tennis tournament in Dom Sportova and they were thinking about booking Cibona hall but it was too short for handball pitch (that pitch is smaller than hockey rink) unless they'd close lower decks behind the goals. But that would decrease capacity too much so its not an option.

No way it would fit there... at least in my opinion.

red_power it was on "panorama Zagreba" on HRT2 yesterday

i think that max attendance of "ledena" is 6500 people, if you don count VIP sector and newly installed tribunes by the ice, so i'm not shore that we beat that record but in the arena we will beat it for shore, btw. i read it in one of the most popular newspapers that KAC and villach would play next year in january on the soccer stadium :)

    o.k., that looks good.
but it is always a question why a player like him (good stats, 29 years old) has no contract in the middle of the season (like bates).

    Perhaps some injury?

mostly - sure. but exactly this is often a problem (like bates).
but i hope that will be a good connection, cheers.
