Der letzte Satz sagt alles, nämlich, dass es wahrscheinlich ist, dass Pöck nicht spielt weil Rachunek eben wieder fit ist, und bereits Play-Off Erfahrung hat.
Rachunek hat nicht nur die Erfahrung von 20 Playoff spielen, man hofft, dass er die form seiner letzten Spiele vor der Verletzung mitnimmt ( in den letzten 6 Spielen vor der Verletzung schoss er 2 seiner 6 Tore und machte 4 seiner20 Assists und war damit hinter Rozsival 2 bester defensiv scorer). Sein zusätzlicher Vorteil ist, dass er gefährlicher als Pöck ist.
GREENBURGH, N.Y. - This break between the first and second rounds of the playoffs comes at a perfect time for Karel Rachunek, who is almost fully recovered from a left knee sprain. Tom Renney is using this time as a mini-training camp to judge Rachunek's readiness for the next series.
"This really helps him continue his rehabilitation," Renney said after practice yesterday, "and gives us a chance to work him in practice until we're satisfied he can play."
The 6-2 defenseman missed the first-round sweep of the Thrashers and hasn't played since the March 13 loss to the Ottawa Senators. His offensive numbers were strong - nine goals and 26 points in 66 games - though he did have a minus-9 rating that is a result of his rough start to the season.
Thomas Pock, who had three assists and an even rating in the first round, has been a steady replacement. But Renney made it clear he'll go with the more experienced Rachunek over the younger Pock. Rachunek also gives the Rangers more offense - and a big shot - from the blue line.
Another roster decision Renney needs to make for the second round isn't as easy. Ryan Hollweg, who played in all but four games of the regular season, was a healthy scratch in the first round. Renney opted to go with Colton Orr instead. Will he do the same for the second round?
"These are all tough decisions," Renney said. "For me, the decisions in September about players are tough because I know how much these guys care and want to play and be part of it. But it's playoff hockey and we're going to put the best team on the ice that we possibly can. If that's at the expense of a current roster player, so be it."
Renney seemed to be more on the fence about the Orr-Hollweg debate than he was about Rachunek over Pock.
"The forward decisions," he said, "aren't maybe as clear as a decision might be with Karel, should he be 100 percent ready to go, which I think he is.

Dieses thema stand schon in einem anderen Artikel (siehe thread Thomas Pöck 2006/2007).
Sobald Rachunek fit ist wird er statt Pöck spielen, eben wegen seiner playoff erfahrung und weil er gefährlicher ist als Pöck.
