The New Jersey Devils host the New York Islanders and
the Chicago Blackhawks host the St. Louis Blues
Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET in a pair of games to be broadcast
regionally on ESPN's "Wednesday Night Hockey."

Both contests involve important intra-division rivalries.
St. Louis trails Chicago by three points in the Central
Division while the Isles and Devils are battling for
positioning in the competitive Atlantic Division, which
has no team at or below .500.

This week's ESPN poll involves the 10 best active hitters
in the NHL. Fittingly, the featured Devils lead with
two candidates for the top hitter in the League (Bobby
Holik and Scott Stevens). The Islanders are also
represented with Michael Peca, who, pound-for-pound, may
be the hardest hitter in the NHL.

Jeff O'Neill was expected to do big things in the NHL,
beginning with his rookie campaign with the Hartford
Whalers during the 1995-1996 season. O'Neill, the
franchise's first-round draft pick in 1994, netted eight
goals and 19 assists in his first year, disappointing
totals for the player taken fifth-overall. NHL.com's
Shawn Roarke finds that he was skating as a third-line
center, which cut down on his ice time. After moving to
the wing, O'Neill potted 41 goals last season and has 29
points in 33 games this season.

es geht nicht darum die letzten paar spiele zu beurteilen sondern nur rein darum wer am letzten spieltag der spieler der runde war.
schon klar das jan konstant gut spielt die letzten wochen. aber diesmal war foster der bessere und ich laß mich sicher ned umstimmen.

jan hat 4 tore geschossen - super leistung!
foster 4 tore und 3 assists - grandiose leistung !

na gut, jan hat seine tore gegen die caps geschossen, aber die kapfenberger, die von foster zerstört wurden haben doch auch einen kleinen auwärtstrend erkennen lassen.
