Habe soeben erfahren das ESPN360 die nächsten beiden Sabres-Spiele nicht überträgt !

Milinda Wickham: I apologize, however this game is likely not being shown as a result of the broadcast rights we were able to obtain to provide the coverage of the NHL season. Often games will be black out due to ticket sale expectations not being met, or conflicts with our Media Partners' coverage rights.

So unzufrieden kann Lindy Ruff mit TV (gegen die Islanders) nicht sein, ich zitiere hier mal die Buffalo News:

Left wing Thomas Vanek was walking around the arena, looking fine after getting a slap shot off the right side of the head Wednesday night against the Islanders. He finished his shift, which ended with a Buffalo goal, before making a brief stop in the Sabres’ dressing room.

Ruff was shocked Vanek made the play seem so nonchalant.

“You’ve got to give him a lot of credit,” the coach said. “Most guys would have been down, laying on the ice, I think. Trainers would have been out there. He shook it off and got right back in front of the net, which led to the goal. He is absolutely fearless when it comes to standing around the front of the net.

“I would say 99 percent of the time, another player would not have finished the game, finished that shift, or [would] have been carried off. For Thomas, I don’t know how he did it, but he did it.”
