Yes, I definitely remember Mike Craig, he was one of the original Dallas Stars (when the team moved from Minnesota).

As for Gregor's history here in the States, I really don't know what happened after he left the Stars.

He didn't leave the Stars by choice. He was the victim of an organization that didn't do much to develop young talent. He was one of about five players that had an extreme amount of potential and Dallas just let them go.

There were just too many forwards in front of him who had been around longer and needed to move up. Dallas couldn't use all of them so all but one or two weren't re-signed or traded.

I can understand your English perfectly! It's a LOT better than me trying to use German, that's for sure.

Thanks for your rersponse, that's exactly what I figured had happened. It's such a shame, because he's a really good player.

We saw Gregor play while he was under contract to the Dallas Stars.

Dallas, Texas is where I'm from. But he still has many fans in Kalamazoo, Michigan where he played for the Stars farm team and they like to keep up with where he's at and how he's doing. They asked me if I knew where he was at and I really didn't. I was actually looking up Lee Jinman (he also played for Dallas) when I found Gregor.

Oddly enough, Salzburg almost had a third ex-Dallas player, Czech defenseman Petr Buzek.

    It's a small world.

I apologize for asking such an annoying question. However, does anyone on here by any chance speak English?

Baumgartner has many fans here in North America and we're curious as to what is going on. And internet translation services really don't do a very good job.

I can understand that he didn't train enough for this season, has been sick and/or injured a lot and has now left the Red Bulls...but I can't really understand why.

Thanks for any help, it's greatly appreciated it. :]
