    korrektheit hin, korrektheit her......drury, also der captain, lag nach dem check blutend am eis. da ist es "****egal ob der check korrekt war oder nicht, jedes team verteidigt in diesem moment seinen captain - kein anderes team hätte nach neils check nur zugeschaut, nochdazu wenn bereits eine ganze linie auf der verletztenliste steht...und drury jetzt auch zuschauen muss!

    darum geht es ja, grabner spielt seit 7-8 runden weit unter seinen möglichkeiten, zeigt wenig einsatz, willen etc...

    Grabner has not played up to his potential and it needed to be adressed. He's had MANY games/oppertunities to play up to the level he can and has chose not to for whatever reason. It would be one thing having flu,injury, ect, but this has gone on for quite some time. Grabner has superstar capibility and peters i'm sure has tryed every way to get that out of him b4 he had to take action.

    They all need to step up to playoff hockey. I don't know what it is with Grabner but he has not been a help to the team for awile. They need players who are willing to do whatever it takes to win.

    All the talent in the world it's disappointing to see him not learn to handle it. It doesn't mean we don't like him but he let himself and the team down and deserves whatever Peters hands out. How he handles it will tell a lot about his character and his chance for success in anything he does.

    A coach has to try to motivate players the way he sees fit, and for all we know hes tried everything other than scratch Grabner up to when that quote was made. Peters(via Babcock)and Pleau know what it takes to make it in the next level, and theyre both Im sure trying to get Grabner to that level, trying all methods to get it through to him.

    in der gestrigen partie gegen tri-city spiele er wieder durch und war vorbereiter des ersten spokane-treffers. das spiel ging trotzdem mit 2:4 verloren.

    vorrangiges ziel ist und muss für beide die nhl sein, profitieren wird im endeffekt der österr. eishockeysport, und last but not least auch der verband.

    andreas nödl trifft gegen denver 2-mal und bereitet den dritten treffer vor; somit ist er der star des spiels beim wichtigen 3:2 auswärtssieg gegen conference-konkurrent denver.

    st. cloud konnte dadurch platz 2 festigen.
    nödl hält bei 14 toren, 22 assists (36 punkten)!

    hut ab!!!!!! :D

    I went to the Chiefs game tonight against Chilliwack and finally got a chance to see Grabner play. Here are my observations:

    Grabner was pretty much invisible the whole night. He spent the majority of the game at right wing and spent time playing the right point on the PP. On the PP, Grabner seemed more inclined to set his teammates in front of the net rather than fire shots towards the net.

    During the first two periods, Grabner shot high all night long. Only in the 3rd period did his shots started hitting the net. There was one instance where Grabner showed his speed by jumping at a loose puck then firing a slapper on net. Beyond that, Grabner pretty did absolutely nothing.

    Granted, the game for the most part, appears to be two mediocre teams playing each other. The more intense the game got, the more sloppy things got. Grabner pretty much floated around at all ends of the ice. On the defensive end, he seemed inclined to let his defense do the work. At one time, the other team's player actually skated around Grabner while Grabner was merely trying to float into position for a breakout pass. He didn't even bother sticking out his stick to pokecheck the guy. On offense, it was the same story. Grabner hung around seemingly looking for an opportunity to pounce on a puck and put it home. He pretty much stayed out on the perimeter the whole game. There was virtually no puck carrying. No urgency. No using of speed to create space.

    Grabner registered an assist in that game, but lets just say that he contributed little to the goal he assisted on. All in all, I'm very disappointed by his performance tonight. Perhaps he's still feeling the effects of the injury that kept him out for quite a few games? I will likely attend a few more Chiefs game in the upcoming months and even years, so I expect there to be future installments of the Grabner Report.
