This is the standard Asiago preseason, but my expectation was that something would have changed for the iceHL. I do not agree with this approach, for sure we'll have a dramatic impact with the league.
I had a high expectation for Iacobellis. i was really curios to see him at this level, for sure Moncada is a different player, it seems that he has less quality than Iaco, but i don't know him, we will see.

The preseason program is very poor, as usual in Asiago, I was hoping this bad way would change but it doesn't seem to be the case.
At the moment just 2 matches are scheduled:
04/09 vs Innsbruck
06/09 supercoppa Italiana against Unterland (AlpsHL team)
at the moment i have no other info, but i don't think that new matches will be scheduled

In my understanding the roster is complete now.
At the moment i'm not able to express a full opinion, the defensive phase seems the most critical.

Per inciso, Misley è stata intanto chiamata a sostituire Mascherin, che è in riabilitazione almeno fino a metà ottobre.
Ora in fondo arriva Rutkovski.
Difesa ancora debole per me con solo 3 trasferimenti (compreso un 22enne).
Ma solo la mia opinione
I agree with you the defensive lines seems quite critical, Asiago needs to improve and Rutkowsky is not enough, it could be different if also Plastino will sign but I have no info about this

I'm just surprised by the conviction of wanting to play a mayor role in the upper part of the standings. I'm not sure if the management really believes that - because that would be really cocky when you look at the usual strong teams - or if it's just to sell more ABOs. I think it will be extremely hard even for us to get into the top 6 this year, although we have the better team than last season.
you have so many certainties, you should be more cautious in making judgments about the rosters quality. Are you really sure that the actual Val Pusteria roster is better than the last season one? The statistics are important but there are a lot of factors that contribute to build a team. Any way I am confident in the Asiago management skills more than anything else

The Continental Cup is the main target for Asiago in the next year, and Mascherin will be not ready for the first round so Misley will replace Mascherin in the first part of the season. E new defender will be signed.

Would say that the defence together with the goalkeepers could become the main weak point for this season. I am pretty sure that next season at least one of the 3 Italian U24 players will be replaced with an import or Italo, regardless of how the season ends.
There are no imports that will be Italo next year, but you are right we need to add at least a couple of import to improve the defence, and this can not happen this year.
About the goalies i trust in Fazio e Vallini, we will see if Fazio has the skills to play as first choice the entire season
