What Lever prob was trying to say is that Finoro and Salinitri before this season did not prove themselves in any league, that could potentially be compared to the ICE. That is a fact. After this season they clearly did prove their value, unlike a lot of Wolves. But one year ago probably even the most fierce Asiago-Fan wouldn't have bet a single euro on them skyrocketing like that.
I agree with you that Finoro has been a surprise for all, included the Asiago fans. The point is that during all the summer some Eliteprospect guru spent time sharing certainties, probably he is young and he needs more experience, if you want another example you can find it below. you have so many certainties, you should be more cautious in making judgments about the rosters quality. Are you really sure that the actual Val Pusteria roster is better than the last season one? The statistics are important but there are a lot of factors that contribute to build a team. Any way I am confident in the Asiago management skills more than anything else

Finoro kommt aus der Usports, was nicht mal im Ansatz eine Referenz für die ICE ist. Auf vergleichbaren Niveau hat er auch noch nie gespielt - beste Referenz ist die Alps, Salinitri idem. Wenn das gestandene ICE Imports sind und mit dem vergleichbar, was momentan sonst so geholt wird, dann fress ich einen Besen und den Stiel gleich mit.

Na da habe ich vielleicht was verwechselt, und ja ich habe was vernudelt. Im letzten Thread von den Asiaghesi gg. Pustertal hat ein begeisterter Fan auf englisch gepostet, viertes Siel in fünf Tagen und dann ein Sieg! Das muß sich in mir verdreht haben.
Also korrigiere mich: Asiaghesi holpern auch nur dahin.
Asiago Played three games in Continental Cup (13/14/15 jan) and then against Brunico (17 jan) so 4 matches in 5 days or better 5 matches in 7 days considering Vienna. it was a quite intense schedule.
Great win for Asiago. The fourth game in 5 days unbelievable. My expectation was to have no chance but the they played a strong and consistent match. The tiredness was visible, especially in the PowerPlay management but any way the team did what was needed.

The only awful aspect is the number of fans that attended the match, not acceptable. something has to change for the next year otherwise the iceHL has no sense in Asiago

At the match played on the 28/12 the police sent back to Asiago more or less 15/20 Asiago ultras, they were prevented from entering the stadium due to some scuffles happened in the match played in Bolzano on 11/04. Let me add that stupid fans are present everywhere

Souveräner Sieg für Bozen. Waren spielbestimmend und Asiago eigentlich bis auf wenige Aktionen ungefährlich.
War mir heute erst aufgefallen ist: Asiago mit 3 italienischen Verteidigern (Casetti, Marcchetti und Gios) in den ersten 3 Linien. So viele echte Italiener spielen nicht bei Bozen und nicht bei Pustertal.
Hoffentlich hat sich Dalhuisen nicht schlimmer verletzt. Sah nicht gut aus.
Magnabosco e Marchetti are playing in the third line and Gios and Casetti are in second and third defensive block so 4 italian player are playing regulary, but honestly speaking Gios is not even close to level needed to play in Ice
