No, you covered most important points. However, I think this "goal" of winning more points than Celje is probably lowest of the lowest goals...
-
Ist das wirklich wahr? Selbst wenn ich begrüße, dass wir nicht nach Kroatien müssen, aber dass man sich seitens der Liga überhaupt auf so einen Deal einlässt...
Yes, it is true !
-
Was ist mit Advisor gemeint? So etwas wie sportlicher Berater?
Maybe recommend them coach(es) or player(s) with his connections...

Sisak sprema proračun od pola milijuna eura za Alpsku ligu, u klub dolazi i bivši NHL igračPreko 70% budžeta je osigurano, u pregovorima smo sa sponzorima za ostalih 30%, kaže sportski direktor Jarčovsportske.jutarnji.hrTwo weeks ago, from the office of the Alpine League, the most beautiful congratulation to KHL Sisak for the club's 90th anniversary arrived. On that day, the club from Banovina officially became a member of the league in which Italian, Austrian and Slovenian clubs compete, and which is a big qualitative step compared to what they have played so far.
That will be the case from the 24/25 season. Siščani will be the 14th club in the league, along with six Italian, five Austrian, and two Slovenian clubs. According to the sports director of Sisak, Luka Jarčov, negotiations began in December last year.
- The first time we got a rejection. The problem was in Bregenzwald, a club that did not like the fact that it had to travel 900 km to Sisak. After that, I sent an email to the league leadership to reconsider our request. Then we came to an agreement that we would play all away games with Bregenzwald, and in case we meet in the playoffs, we would play the home games in Slovenia.
Players from Europe are being watched
A new and better league requires an incomparably bigger budget, how do you stand on that issue?
- Over 70% of the budget has been secured, we are in negotiations with sponsors for the other 30%. The planned figure is around half a million euros, which financially places us in the lower house of the league. We are also negotiating with a TV company about broadcasting domestic matches.
A stronger environment, apart from finances, also requires a better roster. How will Sisak look in this regard?
- The skeleton of the team of about 10 players remains. We want to bring all the best domestic players who want and can play this league with quality. We will add six foreigners to our base. We also narrowed down the choice for a coach to 3-4 names. Also, Shaone Morrison (480 NHL games, op.a.), former Medveščak player, will be in the role of advisor.
According to Jarčov, when it comes to foreigners, they will look at players from Europe...
- They are cheaper simply because we don't have to pay for their plane tickets across the pond twice a year. Only if it is about players from our roots, then the North American market comes into consideration.
From 4 to 40 kids in the school
By going to the Alpine League, the club will no longer play in the IHL?
No. Although I would personally like it, mostly because of those "marginal" players for Alpska who would have the opportunity to temper. It is questionable whether and in what form the IHL will be played next season.
In addition to the success of the seniors, Jarčov is also pleased with the large number of participants in the hockey school.
- When I came to the club in 2021, there were four participants in a small school, today there are over 40.
On this track, we come to another important project when it comes to Sisak, which is the hockey academy.
- It is a huge logistical challenge and the academy is another 2-3 years away. There is a lot of organizational work, because we have to provide the participants with quality education, quality training and the most important thing - quality competition. That way, our players would not have to go outside, but would have everything with us. Our partners and sponsors like this idea and are ready to support us.
The league starts on September 21st, when are you planning to get together?
- The plan is to leave with the ice around August 10.
And finally, result expectations?
- With the budget at our disposal, we can fight for the playoffs.
-
Borna Rendulić (Medvescak, 10/11), signed with Colorado for 14/15
-
. Ich erwarte nicht, dass die Eishalle wie in Mailand nicht rechtzeitig bereit sein wird.
What is "not ready" in Sisak ice hall ? except for few cosmetic things...

More or less agree with other points...
-
not yet official.
Thanks for the link ! From what I've heard their budget is almost set (between 450-500k).
-
Is this confirmed ?

What are the point rules for players in the AHL ? I assume imports are worth 4 !?
-
I assume he means Sisak won't attract fans when they "come to town".
From Sisak perspective: wouldn't you say more people would come to watch Crvena Zvezda than Zell am See or Ritten?
Well yes, but Zvezda can come to Sisak two times at the most, assuming IHL double it's number of games compared to now. Plus, eventually they can meet in the playoffs (but that is something you can't count on for sure). I know games against Zvezda (and/or Partizan) are something special, but it is not all about the name of opponent (and it's historical/political "importance"), something is in quality as well. Ritten and Zee in the worst case are not worse than Zvezda.
Avg. attendance for Sisak (only 7 home games) was around 450 fans...with better league there will be more I am sure. If 500 people came to watch Triglav and Medveščak, I can't see why 1000 wouldn't come to watch Cortina or Salzburg Juniors.
I am positive there is a potential (from Sisak's perspective) for Alps league, but we will see how this will develop...And bolded could also apply for fans in Zagreb. Medvescak fans are much more spoiled than Sisak one's. After all Bears did play in EBEL and KHL, so I can't see why Medvescak would bring more fans against Ritten than Sisak...
-
I would wait until summer, as we know it is very long. If you really come up with the great idea of adding Sisak, another lower-class club in no man's land that attracts absolutely no fans, but generates high travel costs and endlessly long away trips, then I'll be curious to see what happens next. The Italian clubs all need between 6.5 - 7 hours there, which will certainly meet with widespread approval.
Sisak has 47,000 inhabitants, which is near 8 times Cortina has

Where I can find scorers and rosters from todays friendly game ?
-
They are currently building their own ice rink. It will be something like Triglav has it, with more capacity. The main thing is that rink will be theirs. Medvescak will own it. Plan for 23/24 is IHL, for 24/25 is AHL.
-
Medvescak new sponsor is Admiral and new club's name is Medveščak Admiral

-
Betting on Team Austria?
Oh my sweet summerchild.

Today it's already lower - 3,50 on Austria

-
Today there was an article about it in "Jutranji". I really hope to see you soon.
Actually it was from Sportske Novosti, they and Jutarnji just share website
I saw it and I am excited. After Medvescak collapse in late 2018. I was fed up with everything regarding our hockey (only checked if Rendulić scored for his team), then first Sisak came onto the scene now Medvescak is slowly making it's way back
-
Croatian betting company SuperSport is giving 4.10 odd on Austria against France ? Is it some joke or ?
I took opportunity and put 10 euros on Austria, because I simply can't figure out why France would be such a favourite. -
Which kind of announcement?
The one that will greatly improve teams financial situation

-
There will be an important announcement from the club in the following days.

-
Zagreb is closer from the south of Austria (Graz, Klagenfurt, Villach) or from South Tyrol than Vienna...a stone's throw from Ljubljana anyway, and you have everything Autobahn...no comparison with the mountain road to Asiago!

Plus, we are in Schengen now so no more waiting on border crossing.
