    By HN:

The decision will not be known until the 5th of April  ...WTF

How to prepare a team for the new season? Even players sign contracts for next season already...stupid, why they need to wait so long? Each day of delay, the part of it to the club, who signed for EBEL.

Jesenice have enough home players, even this number went down since they don't have profesional team anymore (INL team is not professional team - they get paid but most of the players have also jobs) - most od the players went abroad, or to play for rival in Ljubljana :( since there was no "serious" team anymore (no future - to go away or stop playing hockey). New management showed that they can work fair. The idea is to play in EBEL with home players who play abroad atm (they will come back if there would be again profesional EBEL team) we could use a few players from team which are playing atm in Jesenice (INL) and few good foreign players.

And of course you are asking for budget. Jesenice didn't apply for EBEL before, because of that (they had opinion, that they don't have enough resources yet). New management standing on idea, that team must have enough money/sponsors to play EBEL before they apply. I belive Budget would be somethong like Znojmo's. Which is ok, since salaries are not like in Salzburg, KAC or other Austrian teams.

The hall Podmežakla is renewed and looking great and have - 5500 capacity since on south side removed seats (people like to stand :) in our hall while cheering - not me anymore though :P ) We also get derbies back with Olimpija and rivaly with nearby Carinthia teams (VSV, KAC) also games with Vienna and other teams (Salzburg, Linz, Graz...) were also great.

We'll see, I hope league teams (in voting) and club will come along (crossing my fingers). Jesenice would also have U20 and U18 team which is already playing in EBJL and its currently one of the leading teams :). Now we are waiting what will happen... :o

Reported by Slovenian national TV (RTV SLO) 7 teams applied for EBEL next year (3 italian teams, 2 hungarian teams, Kapfenberg and SIJ Acroni Jesenice). So no Zagreb (which apparently remains in KHL - 2 weeks ago they signed one new sponsor contract)

It was interview with President of Telemach Olimpija - Marko Popovic. He also said that each team would have to pay 100,000 euros fee and course ahead league strives to enlargement.

This is new logo yes. The old one which @xtroman posted above, will be on auction in february (start price 25K). Ok I personally like more old logo, but IMHO it's stupid to throw money for it. Better to use that for something else! This is actually second auction. On first one start price was 1200€. So some old players (represented by Tomaž Razinger) wanted to buy it, also main sponzor wanted to buy it and give it than as a gift to president of HDDJesenice, but than suddenly came guy from Ljubljana and said that he'll give 150.000€ for it and all standed there with open mouths =O of course he won the auction - and everyone was suprised (not to mention how insulting it was, that guy from rival city bought our logo). Well when he needed to pay that amount, he said he'll not give money for it (anyway everyone doubted that he have money) - it was clear that his (and people behind him - its sure it was not just his idea) intentions were just to stall with auction and annoy the Jesenice. We,ll see what will happen on next auction (first was like Jerry Springer show) :P .... Anyway its not that important anymore, more important is that club enters back to EBEL (new or old logo - I don't care)...

I just wonder when we can expect answer from the league?

HDD Jesenice (of course with young selections HD mladi Jesenice). HKJ went to bankruptcy - logo and trademark will be sold on auction. I think somewhere in february (start price 25K) - this was posted today in news.

Thanks for the info, but keep your messages in English! ;)

    I'll - thx ;). I thought that google translate won't be good :P

    here in english:
Ljubljana have the same problem Jesenice had, when they bankrupt in 2011/2012. And they dont pay their players salaries (except to foreign goaltender).
Jesenice are now on different (fair) path (paying regularly, even now in INL). They have youth teams, also they have a lot of home players who are playing hockey abroad, and they will came home if Jesenice enter in EBEL. So they could have descend squad. And for that you don't need so much money like some austrian clubs are paying (8M). They would have squad something like Znojmo (and budget). Its important to go league higher (EBEL), even for the sake of the young players who will quit hockey if there is no serious club or league for them...Jesenice was also the team who had the highest amount of spectators when playing abroad. Its simply hockey town which gave biggest stars in Slovenian hockey. More than half of Slovenian national team origins from Jesenice hockey school, also good hockey could die with no proper league asap in Jesenice.

Since my german is bad here is also in english   :hilfe: :
Confirmed - Jesenice applied for EBEL 2016/17. Now is on EBEL clubs to decide who from applied clubs will take in.

I wonder when decision will be published (or told to the chosen clubs)?
