Natürlich war die 15 Kraus.

For sure Asiago played the worse match of the season.

Nothing worked, also the approach to the game was awful, for the first time it seemed the the team has no will to fight.

I hope that it was a wrong day, but no excuses in this we way will win no matches.

Please excuse my question, but do you think it was the right step for your ICEHL entrance?

Wouldn't it have been better to play another season in the AHL?

I don't know enough about your team, but how is the reaction from the fans and the environment about ICE?

From a sporting point of view, it makes the impression, that you can't keep up in this league.

A comparison:

In Pustertal there was euphoria, also due to the new ice rink, of course. But from beginning they had a team with winning mentality, that's good for the fans.

In Asiago, however, there is neither a new hall nor spectators who show interest. That gives cause for concern.

Hab versucht gestern ein paar Spieler zu beobachten:

Haudum hat gestern mMn gezeigt, dass es im auf der C-Position sehr gefällt.

Hat Spielfreude ausgestrahlt - dann aber auch immer wieder dumme Entscheidungen getroffen, die zu Scheibenverlusten bzw. dazu geführt haben, dass alle aus dem Angriffsdrittel raus mussten. Ich hoffe doch sehr, dass er diese Fehler einstellen kann.

Fraser... oh man - wie überrascht waren wir von ihm, als er mitten/ende der Saison kam. Wo ist dieser Spieler hin? So, wie er jetzt spielt ist er leistungstechnisch nicht von einem AHL-Spieler zu unterscheiden.

Petersen - hat viel versucht. Den Pass von Obersteiner (weiss wohl selbst nit, wie er den machte) hat er gekonnt versenkt. Hätte mir jedoch mehr Spielwitz erhofft - vor allem bei einem Gegner, der nicht ICE-Niveau hat.

I understand your doubts, in this moment are absolutely normal.

What i can say is that Asiago organization is very ambitious. In the last 10/15 years the club obtain several good results, also when BZ and Brunico played in the same league. I think that who is in charge to build the roster has big experience and skills, but for sure at the moment the results are not confirming this. For sure they do not build a team just to participate, they have clear in mind their target. Obviously there is a big difference between have ideas and concretize them. So I'm quite confident that the team will have a positive trend during the season. this is from the sporting point of view. And i'm sure that they are able to learn from their mistakes.

About the spectators it is really a critical point from my point of you. Asiago lost several spectators in alpsHL due to the quality of the league, then there was the covid, so my expectation was that there would be a different interest respect the actual. I don't understand really why so many fans didn't come back to the arena. I thought many different reasons: there is a big gap of costs from the last seasons and the current one, the match are really early respect the usual (consider that a big number of fans come from lowland so they need at least 40 minutes by car to join the arena. so play at 19.45 instead of 20.30 can be the difference), but honestly speaking i don't know. i hope that slowly the people will be back as in the italian championship. Let me just add that the cheaper tickets are for the standing places and they are located at the top of the arena, so yesterday at least 200 spectators were not visible in the video, but anyway the presences are too low at the moment.

I can not make comparison with Brunico, for sure a boring discussion would start with the valpusteria fans and i really want avoid it, let me say that they had a first big season in IceHL, Bolzano is an important club in IceHL and both agreed to involve Asiago in the league, they recognize the Asiago capabilities to develop their project even if there is a big sporting rivalry.

Sorry for my long post, but I'm quite sure that the final impact of Asiago in the league will be positive, probably we need more time than we expected but the club will work hard also to improve the arena, some works are scheduled also in November ( i think but im not sure). and when the results trend will be better than now i hope that the fans will be back

Ich denke, die Zuschauerzahlen in Asiago werden auf sehr bescheidenem Niveau bleiben und kaum einmal - außer in der Weihnachtszeit durch die vielen Touristen und bei den Derbys - über 1.000 steigen. Die Zuschauer in Asiago haben - u. a. auch kulturell bedingt - absolut keinen Bezug zur Liga und zu den anderen Mannschaften (ausgenommen HCB und HCP). Ob da der Traditionsverein KAC, die Red Bull Salzburg oder St. Pölten und Eisenstadt kommen, ist denen - etwas überspitzt gesagt - komplett Wurscht.

Dann verstehe ich den Hintergrund und die Beweggründe des Vereins und auch der Liga nicht, gemeinsame Sache zu machen!

Das bringt allen Beteiligten außer Kosten rein gar nichts!

Wenn sich die Chance ergibt, würde kein Verein Nein dazu sagen. Der Schritt in die ICE war, was das Zuschauerinteresse betrifft eine Flucht nach vorne, weil es in der Alps ständig zurückging. I'm sorry but you are very poorly informed, Asiago was very active to develop the AlpsHL project. One of the first organization, in my memory the first one but i can be wrong, to push several initiatives to provide more visibility to the league ( for example Asiago provided the streaming since the first year in AlpsHL and fight a lot to make it mandatory). But if the more competitive Austrian teams are the junior clubs, Brunico end Lubjana leave the league, no one is interested to lift up the rosters quality it is clear the there is no more interest in this solution. Asiago was the first sponsor of the AlpsHL since the beginning, you have to review your informations, as often happen about Asiago.

Es gibt Interviews von eurem Vereinspräsidenten, die sich jeder geben kann, wo er mehr als nur deutlich klarmacht, was er von der Idee der Alps und dem Zusammenarbeiten mit mehreren Verbänden gar nichts hält. Das kann sich jeder anhören, deswegen lass sich auf diese Diskussion gar nicht erst ein.

The president gave an interview, when? The league was presented in 2016, so the interview was given in 2016 at the beginning of the project as you refer in your post?

Da ist das Video.

Bei Minute 34:52 bezeichnet er die Alps als schwerwiegenden Fehler und holt zum kompletten Rundumschlag aus. Und das ist noch das netteste, was er da so von sich gegeben hat. Zum Zeitpunkt des Videos hat er sich dafür eingesetzt als Reaktion zum Abgang von Laibach und Bruneck die Alps zu exekutieren und eine Serie A zu gründen - wollte aber keiner. Die Einstellung, die er da vertretet, gab es am Hochplateu schon von Beginn an und das war auch bei den Vereinsvertretern der anderen Verbände kein Geheimnis.

Sorry, but you can write whatever you want and intervene whenever you want. But the fact is that your president has never been a friend of the AlpsHL and he has always wanted a Serie A. And the way he vented this frustration in the above interview is more than embarrassing. But we are used to that from this swashbuckler.

Das verstehe ich schon, die Alps ist durch die Farmteams und den Abgang von Laibach, Bruneck und zuletzt Feldkirch eine ziemlich unattraktive Liga mit sehr bescheidenem Niveau geworden.

Aber die Zuschauer interessieren sich offenbar nicht für den Verein, egal in welcher Liga. Von daher muss man sich fragen, ob Asiago überhaupt ein Standort ist, an dem Profihockey Sinn macht.

Wer bezahlt das alles, wenn bei den gestiegenen Kosten für Auswärtsfahrten, Energie und dazu den Spielerlöhnen null Zuschauereinnahmen herein kommen?

Asiago invested a lot of effort in AlpsHL and pushed a lot to improve the league.
