Kai Fässler @ EC Bregenzerwald

    Warum wird Kai Fässler hier nirgends erwähnt? Ein großes Talent das alles mitbringt ausser vielleicht noch ein bisschen zu wenig Kraft, die er aber in den Spielen durch Technik und Hockeysense nicht spüren lässt. Natürlich war er nicht im Nationalteam aber warum? Der Grund dafür liegt doch klar auf der Hand. Fässler und Fröwis, beide vor dem Wechsel in die Schweiz heiss von Red Bull Salzburg umworben. Sogar mehr als Zitz der sich dann für die Akademie entschieden hat. Und seit dieser Absage sind sie kein wirkliches Thema mehr für den Nationalteam Coach, der bei der Red Bull Organisation arbeitet... Fässler ist ein wirklich großes Talent, das nicht wirklich beachtet wird. Bei der Vorbereitung auf die U18 WM war er noch dabei und hatte 2 überragende Wochen und 2 Spiele, in der er zusammen in der Linie mit Rossi die einzigen auffälligen Akteure waren. Man muss auch beachten dass er natürlich mit schweren Verletzungen zu kämpfen hatte, aber dann zurück zu kommen und eine tolle Erste Saison in der AlpsHL zu spielen ist bemerkenswert. Ich sehe ihn als eine der größten Nachwuchshoffnungen in Österreich denn er bringt alles mit, Talent, Wille, Herz und Liebe zum Spiel.. ich weiss nicht wieso er nicht beachtet wird.

    I think yes maybe he's got less weight, but with good summer work he can add some. But he's got talent. Great shot, hockeysense, good hands, good skating technice for his size.. when have you seen him playing for the last time? I think he is way to underrated and he has got really big talent..

    I think I'll just give a few of my thoughts.

    I've seen short clips more recently...but last full game was January.

    I think he would benefit greatly from playing in a solid junior club with good facilities where he can work on individual skills and technique for another year or two. When we talk about 17-18 year olds who play senior level hockey and thrive we're definitely talking about the minority. Players that are both fundamentally and physically developed. A player like Matthews, Laine, Puljujarvi, or a Nando Eggenberger etc.

    In a professional hockey club they expect you to have a certain level of proficiency in various aspects, be it your power-skating, stickhandling, passing, shooting, or physical play/pursuit. Playing pro-hockey in your teen years can definitely be helpful for developing your physical play and decision making. But in order to benefit from such one needs to have that expected level of proficiency in the various technical aspects of your game and probably be above that minimum requirement in at least one or two categories. Pro-clubs are focused more on winning and less on developing athletes and Bregenz doesn't have a lot of the resources a player might want to tap into when developing specific fundamentals.

    Fassler definitely has things going for him where some of the intangibles are concerned, but physically he could use some work and fundamentally he could also use some work as well. I think the next season or two and off-seasons will definitely be important and indicative for his long-term development.

    Lets se where he plays neyt season.. he has a lot offers ive heard.. but when you see him playing with the national team, you can see that he is at least in the top 3 forwards and top 5 of all.. @kabidjan14

    I heard the news. Obviously, acceptance into the system could imply participation within any system team, and the final acceptance is still awaiting the approval of Celio (I'm optimistic), but I think it's a good step.

    War mir nicht sicher, ob das tatsächlich dazugehört. Unten würde es auch stehen. Doch auf meinem alten Handy, sehe ich nicht gleich alles.

    Kann er totzdem spielen?

    It's good to see the kind of effort he put out there on the ice. That effort is always valued of course. Obviously, guys like Pusnik from last year have also fit in well in the ALPSHL.

    Passion is definitely a good quality. I think there are always places in decision making where the national team could improve for sure. If he keeps working perhaps he can carve a role out for himself at ECB.

    I think he maybe had a year of a bad luck with his points. I think maybe he will have a better season now, but when you see him playing, there is no question he can play hockey and has got talent.

    Nein, der Vater micht ;) nein ich kenne ihn zwar, aber nicht so wie ihr vielleicht denkt, ich bin ECB fan vielleicht auch deshslb die begristerung für ihn
