Letzte Nacht wurde die Eishalle des HC Donbass und nächstjähriger Austragungsort der WM Div 1A von Separatisten geplündert, Eigentum des Klubs gestohlen, und anschließend angezündet:
At night from 26 to 27 May, armed people broke into the Arena "Druzhba", tied the guard, took an office equipment, plasma screens, communication equipment, safety box, which was in a fan shop, stole a company car. Separately was destroyed a server room, which stores information of video surveillance cameras. Finally, they set fire to the building. By efforts of firefighters, who came to the rescue, managed to localize the fire. Considerable material damage was caused to the Arena "Druzhba".
Fortunately, there is no human casualties.
Cynical and impudent behavior of terrorists caused indignation of both the hockey community and hockey club "Donbass", which represents Ukraine in one of the strongest leagues in the world - the Kontinental Hockey League.
For many years Arena "Druzhba" was a symbol of sports victories for citizens of Donetsk. Also, on its platform, were conducted major athletics competitions, unique international tournament "Pole Vault Stars", basketball games and many other cultural and sporting events.
In the "Druzhba" were set 11 world records, including in the pole vault indoors - in 1993 by Sergey Bubka and 2014 by Reno Lavilleni.
Since 2011, the Arena became home ground of the HC "Donbass". All the big victories of the "Donbass" are associated with this sports construction.
Young hockey players of the HC "Donbass" hold their trainings in the Arena "Druzhba".
Recently the Arena won the right to take the World Championship in Division 1A.Hockey club "Donbass", fans of the club and the entire hockey community deeply indignant by what had happened, and call upon those people who still sympathize with the bandits of the so-called DPR, who terrorizing East of Ukraine, to think: is this "future" they want for themselves and their children.

Der Präsident des Vereins hat inzwischen jedoch angekündigt, dass die Schäden umgehend repariert werden sollen, so dass der Nachwuchs ab ersten September wieder trainieren kann, und auch die Spiele für KHL ausgerichtet werden können.

Players of the club, management of the team and thousands of fans express their indignation concerning bandit actions of members of the so-called Donetsk People's Republic, who attacked the Arena "Druzhba" this night, plundered the palace and set fire to it.
As I said a week ago, activists of the DPR - a real gang of Somali pirates, who have no place in the future of Donbass.
I have no doubt that this entire criminal structure will come to an end and not much time left before the citizens of Donbass will understand who and what is behind their "soap slogans".

Today at 6.00 p.m. engineers, architects and builders will finish inspection of damages in the Arena "Druzhba".
The club has all the strength and capabilities to, within ninety days, by working around the clock, restore the Arena.
Young hockey players and figure skaters will begin trainings on September 1.
Technically speaking the Arena will be fully restored to the beginning of the KHL Championship.On behalf of the players and coaches I thank the managers and coaches of nearly all clubs of the KHL and VHL, who supported the HC "Donbass" today.
