    Guys, i need some help. On friday im getting married to my kärntner-girl friend. Out of hockeyseason ofcourse.

    The last months have been a pain. Cause whenever i try to write "www.hoc" in the adress in the explorer, normally lots of hockey-suggestions is coming up, but lately it has only been hochzeit-suggestions on top of the hockey!

    So im wondering if anyone have any tips what to do or say in the speech that would be a bit impressive...or even more important...what not to do or say ;) Im sure there are some differences between a norwegian and austrian wedding. Any tips are highly appreciated :)

    Puh bis zu meiner Heirat wirds noch ein paar Jährchen dauern, daher kann ich dir keine Tipps geben.... außer das alles was du zu ihr sagst, ehrlich sein sollte, wenns von Herzen kommt dann kanns nicht falsch sein!

    Danke, es ist mein zweite mal auch...es ist nicht so einfach...

    Die hockzeit ist in Tullnbingerkogel, so die kärntner mussen sich gutes benehmen ;)

    DONT get marrid, cause its your own self made Prison. YOU had to ask to go to the Toilet or when you wanna hang around with your Bro's

    @norsker: my girlfriend would like it best if i said "i've though about it for enough time now" and that's all. you should know your situation best, and maybe let the best man do some of the talking. it's not hell of a tradition in austria, as far as i know, but you're most possibly as exotic as the come for a carinthian father in law anyway so it won't really matter.

    my idea:

    to show her how much you love her you promise in the church that you'll convert to a KAC-Fan! (what else could she be when she is from carinthia?!) ;)

    haha, funny guy :) I would rather poke my eyes out with a fork than become KAC-fan.

    I think R.bourque is on to something..unless you have anything special, probably the best is to keep things simple. Although i would like to include "wir sind eure hauptstadt ihe bauern" somehow in the speech...also the fact that they are (probably the only) spö-kärntner and i am much more rechts in the politics is a bit funny. Normally i guess it is the other way round ;)
