MINNESOTA WILD RE-SIGN LW PASCAL DUPUIS

SAINT PAUL/MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Minnesota Wild President and General Manager Doug Risebrough announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has re-signed LW Pascal Dupuis (pronounced pas-KAL, doo-PWEE) to a multi-year contract.
Dupuis, 24 (4/7/79), played in a career-high 80 games with Minnesota last season and established career-highs in goals (20), assists (28), points (48), penalty minutes (44) and game-winning goals (4). He led the club with a franchise record +17 rating and finished second on the team in goals and shots (183), tied for second in points and third in power play goals (6). The 6-foot, 196-pound left wing added eight points (4-4=8) in 16 playoff contests.
The Laval, Quebec-native was signed as a free agent by the Wild on September 18, 2000. Dupuis made his NHL debut on April 2, 2001, at San Jose and scored a power play goal in his first-ever NHL game. He has registered 76 points (36-40=76) in 160 career NHL games with Minnesota. Dupuis is scheduled to skate with the team in Buffalo on Monday at 2
