Was ist ein Fight Strap???

Fight strap - The mandatory attachment sewn into the back of the jersey. Affixed with a snap and velcro, it is threaded through a loop in a player's game pants so a player's jersey stays on his body during fights. NHL rules mandate that a fight strap must be attached. Players who do not fight have been known to cut the fight straps from their jerseys. Fight straps are conclusive evidence of game use, because rust, salt deposits, loose threads and body hair accumulate in fight straps through repeated use.
